About me

Hello, I'm Valerie

I'm a counsellor offering individual counselling for women in a warm, respectful, and confidential environment.

I offer a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and explore what is happening in your life without judgment. My approach is grounded in safety, connection, and understanding each person's unique story.

I bring both professional training and a multicultural lived experience to my work, which supports a relational and culturally sensitive approach to counselling.

Sessions are available both in-person and via telehealth, supporting emotional wellbeing, identity, and life transitions through a gentle, trauma-informed, and integrative approach.

Based in the Glen Eira area, Melbourne. I support women across the Bayside region experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to identity and cultural belonging.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive, creating space for reflection, healing, and meaningful change at your own pace.

Whether you are navigating stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or feelings of disconnection, counselling can provide an opportunity to reconnect with yourself with greater clarity, self-understanding, and care.

At Arcadia Counselling Studio, I also share gentle reflections and insights on emotional wellbeing, supporting ongoing self-awareness, healing, and connection beyond the counselling space.

Free 20-minute initial consultations are available to explore whether we are a good fit.
